Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Associate-EFTR. This position involves executing and supporting moderately high complexity EFTR regulatory reporting activities, with opportunities to gain exposure to AML functions, enhance operational processes, and contribute to compliance initiatives. Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $27.70/hr

Responsibilities

Perform independent reviews of EFTR data discrepancies and data incompleteness alerts.
Remediate EFTR records by updating relevant data fields accurately.
Validate data accuracy through reconciliation, verification, and exception handling.
Identify, correct, or escalate data quality issues within SLAs.
Draft and manage RFIs with internal partners for missing or conflicting data.
Support end-to-end EFTR remediation and reporting activities in compliance with regulatory standards.
Analyze source documentation to determine accurate reporting outcomes.
Escalate operational issues, data quality gaps, or control weaknesses.
Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements for regulatory compliance.
Conduct detailed analysis of data trends to identify systemic issues.
Maintain clear and professional communication with internal stakeholders.
Desired Skill-Set

1.5+ years of experience in FINTRAC EFTR regulatory reporting.
Prior experience in a corporate or financial services environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
Ability to work independently and manage moderate to high complexity tasks.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proven team player with strong communication skills.
Nice to Have

Previous experience working within a bank or financial institution.
Knowledge of AML procedures and regulatory frameworks beyond EFTR.
Experience with process improvement initiatives.
