#Ottawa Opportunity: Azure Cloud Administrator Contract

Are you a seasoned Azure Cloud professional looking for a new challenge? We have a one-year contract available for an Azure Cloud Administrator in Ottawa. This hybrid role offers flexibility with mostly remote work but requires 10 days of on-site presence at the Ottawa headquarters each month.

To be eligible, candidates must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years to apply for Secret Security Clearance, a necessity for this position. The ideal candidate should possess a University degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with extensive experience in Microsoft Azure and Cloud engineering roles.

Key qualifications and skills required:
– 5+ years of experience in Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, AAD, RBAC, Serverless, Containers)
– Proficiency in Agile methodologies, utilizing tools like JIRA and Confluence for documentation
– Expertise in hybrid environments, integrating on-premises systems with cloud solutions
– Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and migration practices
– Hands-on experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ArgoCD GitOps
– Strong understanding of Git-based version control systems like GitHub
– Previous banking experience is considered an asset
