About The Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Architect, Infrastructure Engineering to lead our team of network and systems engineers. In this role, you will lead, coach, and mentor a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Additionally, you will oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, databases, security, and backups. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems to support organizational operations and growth.

 

What You’ll be Doing:

Lead, coach, and mentor a team, fostering a positive work environment.Set clear goals and expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, databases, security, and backups.Develop and implement IT infrastructure processes to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of server infrastructure, including virtualization, operating systems, and server hardware.Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of storage solutions, including SAN/NAS systems and data backup/recovery processes.Ensure the security of IT systems and data through the implementation of security measures and procedures.Monitor and analyze system performance, capacity, and availability, and make recommendations for improvements.Manage IT projects related to infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansions.Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to support business needs and objectives.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT infrastructure management and technology

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role.5+ years of management experienceIn-depth knowledge of server administration (e.g., Windows Server, RHEL, SLES), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and server hardware.Proficiency in managing storage solutions, backup/recovery processes, and data protection technologies.Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, DB2).Knowledge of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing/switching.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security policies.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Knowledge of cloud computing platform (e.g., Azure, GCP).Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, CISSP) are a plus.
