| What we are looking for

Reporting to the Director, Industry Readiness and Deployment and working directly with the Industry Readiness Lead the Analyst, Industry Readiness supports Payments Canada as it engages with various stakeholders from the financial industry throughout the RTR Program’s lifecycle. The Analyst is responsible for the coordination and communication with members and non-members and leverages appropriate tools and platforms while establishing standardized processes.

This is a temporary position for a 22-month term.

| A day in the life

Your responsibilities as the Analyst, Industry Readiness will include but are not limited to:

Participant Status and Planning Analysis:

 

Manage member interactions proactively by providing prompt responses to email inquiries, requests for meetings, management of bilateral meetings in a timely manner.Track participant action items and support the Lead / Project Manager as needed.Assure structured and traceable document management and tag all documents shared with industry, provide file structure, manage and store all documents on the shared Google Drive dedicated to the Industry Readiness team.Conduct data analysis and produce meaningful insights from data through graphs, visuals, etc.Maintain and track member action items to closure.

Real Time Rail Working Group Secretary:

 

Manage tooling and platforms including MS Teams/WebEx account, the Mod Room (Confluence), Smartsheet and Salesforce by hosting meetings, share content on screen, oversee participant access (add/remove/update), assure content is up to date, manage content and deliverables, build/maintain member views/reports, manage distribution lists, send meeting invites and manage overall RTR external calendar with focus on external engagements.Create, share and manage meeting minutes from industry meetings.Develop or support creation of content for meetings and presentations.Identify and execute on opportunities to improve processes and/or reporting.Provide regular status updates on ongoing files, action points, etc.Support ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

| What you will need to be successful

 

Undergraduate degree in Business, Law, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field.Minimum of two (2) to three (3) year’s experience in business administration, research, or business analysis related positions, preferably in the financial sector.Experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Eligibility to successfully complete background checks that will be carried out by Payments Canada, including criminal, credit, identity, employment, and education checks.

| Salary range

 

Based on qualifications and experience: $78,031 to $97,539.
