Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Administrative Assistant. This position offers an opportunity to provide essential day-to-day operational support, including administrative tasks, documentation preparation, and internal and external communication, contributing to a high-performing team environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $22.38/hr
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to facilitate daily operations
Prepare and manage various paperwork, reports, and presentations accurately and promptly
Coordinate and schedule meetings, including booking facilities and arranging equipment and refreshments as needed
Manage incoming inquiries and requests for information with professionalism and efficiency
Maintain organized files, tracking data and documentation related to financial and operational activities
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Respond to internal and external communications promptly, exercising strong verbal and written communication skills
Support customer service initiatives by ensuring high-quality interactions and professionalism
Assist with expense reporting, mail distribution, and other administrative duties as assigned
Identify process improvements and communicate ideas for enhancing workflow efficiency

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to foster sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Nice to Have
Knowledge of financial services or retail environments
Experience with managing multiple tasks concurrently
Previous exposure to supporting financial teams or back-office functions
CIRO license or related financial certifications (asset)
Experience using department-specific systems or tools
