🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior System Analyst/Admin – Linux & Solaris Servers 🚀
📍 Location: Remote (Toronto)
⏳ Contract Duration: 3 months (No extension)
💼 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (37.5 hrs/week; after-hours/weekend support may be required)

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Analyst to support a Datacenter Migration project involving Linux & Solaris servers. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects with technologies like Solaris, Red Hat Linux, and Veritas while enhancing your skills in system administration, virtualization, and automation.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Administer and troubleshoot Solaris (10/11) and Red Hat Linux (6/7/8) environments.
Lead Datacenter migration efforts for Linux/Solaris servers.
Automate tasks using Ansible and scripting (Bash, Python).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operations.
Create technical documentation, custom solutions, and end-user training materials.
💻 Must-Have Skills:
8+ years of hands-on experience with Solaris and Red Hat Linux system administration.
Expertise in Veritas Storage Foundation, Cluster Services, and SAN storage.
Proficiency in NIS, DNS, NFS, ZFS, RAID, and server troubleshooting.
Strong experience with scripting and Ansible automation.
🔍 Desirable Skills:
Experience in Datacenter migration projects is a plus.

Strong problem-solving abilities and an innovative troubleshooting mindset.
🎓 Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
