Data Architect

Exciting opportunity: Data Architect
Location: Downtown Toronto – Mostly remote
Rate: 80/hr

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data governance, or large scale information systems design (Proven experience operating as a senior data architect within complex enterprise environments)
2. 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Purview or similar data classification, compliance, or governance tooling
3. Previous experience operating in regulated environments; financial services experience is strongly preferred (Experience designing secure, compliant, and audit-ready data solutions.)
4. Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint, particularly in the context of data governance and access management.
5. Strong understanding of data architecture principles, metadata management, data classification, and lineage.
6. Familiarity with IAM, data protection, and information governance concepts.
7. 3+ years of experience with SharePoint and Jira
