Incredible opportunity for an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to join a well-respected NFP organization on a full-time basis! Reporting to the Director of Finance, the selected incumbent will be tasked with leading accounting activities and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for all umbrellas of the organization. Supervising a team of finance professionals, the ideal candidate is an adaptable and collaborative leader with strong supervisory skills and the ability to vocalize recommendations in a tactful manner.

Main responsibilities include:

Supervise and mentor a small team of finance specialists and analystsResponsible for accurate and timely financial reporting and analysisResponsible for all quarterly reports and annual audited financial statementsPrepare and post general ledger entriesReview account reconciliations and provide analysis of balance sheet accounts and adjustmentsPerform year-end account reconciliations and variance explanationsIdentify any financial issues and provide recommendationsMonitor cash flow and oversee banking activitiesPlan and implement special or complex projects as needed

Qualifications:

The main qualifications for this role include:

CPA designation is mandatory5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting & analysisSupervisory experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written

Assets:

Bilingual (French/English)Previous experience in health care or hospital industry

Compensation:
