Junior Data Analyst

Our banking client is hiring a Junior Data Analyst for a 4 month contract with room for extensions, located in downtown Toronto onsite 3 days per week.

– Strong experience in data visualization, Python, and SQL are must have skills
– Banking experience is highly preferred
– This position pays up to $49 per hour incorporated based on a 37.5 hour work week

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 3-4 (max) years of experience in data analysis, data mapping, data discovery, and data modelling.
• Proven track record of working with SMEs to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Experience with Python, R, or similar for data analysis and visualization, such as BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and dashboard creation.
•Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Spanish-speaking candidates mandatory

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, pipelines and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques or machine learning fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
