⭐ Critical Experience
Candidates must have 7–8 years of hands-on Asset Management experience and be highly proficient with Snowflake. Investment-industry experience is the hiring manager’s highest priority.
Experience within Pension Funds, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets may also be considered, with Asset Management strongly preferred.
🔹 Key Requirements
• 7+ years working in data-driven organizations on large-scale, end-to-end data initiatives
• 5+ years of senior-level, hands-on Data Engineering experience
• Strong experience building cloud-native data platforms, applications, and pipelines
• Advanced Snowflake expertise, including warehouses, query optimization, and cost governance
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, or similar modern cloud technologies
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, and SQL
• AWS experience including S3, EC2, EKS, Glue, SageMaker, Athena, and Redshift
• Experience designing APIs and microservices
• Proven delivery of large-scale enterprise data engineering initiatives
• Experience with investment, portfolio, securities, holdings, market, and/or performance data
• Exposure to AI or AI-enabled data solutions is a strong asset
• Power BI or Tableau experience is an asset
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
