Job Overview:

Front-End Planning (FEP):
Project team member responsible for coordinating, facilitating and driving the Front-End Planning processes.
Review and provide input into project scoping, Work Breakdown Structures, and Basis of Estimates.
With support of project team members, develop integrated, logically tied, resource loaded project schedules using Primavera, incorporating identified scope, risks, estimates/budgets and constraints to the individual task level for field execution.
Establish project budgets, contingency and milestones, and support and author Business Case Summary development.
Ensure detail, accuracy and quality are adequate to allow monitoring and control of the project and successful completion of cost, schedule and scope commitments.

Project Monitoring & Control:
Develop and maintain updated and accurate conceptual phase schedules.
Maintain alignment between source systems, including SAP, AS9, Ecosys, Ariba and EBX, and project control systems throughout the project life cycle.
Perform weekly schedule and cost updates, analysis, forecasting, metrics reporting and variance analysis.
Identify actual and potential deviations from approved budgets or schedules.

Change Management:
Ensure approved change control processes are followed and prepare applicable documentation.
Update project cost and schedule following approved changes.
Perform “What if” analysis and maintain project cost baseline integrity in Ecosys.

Cost & Schedule Quality:
Maintain accurate project cost and schedule information reflecting the current project plan, including field execution.
Reconcile financial and project controls systems, remediate discrepancies, and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
Monitor critical path, float, predecessors, successors, logical ties and project report accuracy.

Purchase Order Analysis & Reporting:
Ensure source systems accurately align costs with assigned project budgets.
Populate project control systems to capture and monitor costs.
Monitor contractor cost and schedule performance and identify discrepancies.

Qualifications

5 to 8 years of Project Controls experience with a strong cost management background.
Advanced Excel proficiency with complex spreadsheets and large datasets.
Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Power BI.
Experience with Ecosys or other project cost management tools is a strong asset.
Prior vendor or nuclear experience is preferred but not required.
