Senior IT Systems Administrator
Job Description
Our client has an urgent contract requirement for a Senior IT Systems Administrator. This is FULLY ONSITE role in Calgary. The start date is from August 12 – December 31, 2026. This role has an opportunity to convert to permanent employment.
The Resource will provide day-to-day operational support and will be expected to integrate into the environment with minimal onboarding, contributing effectively from day one.
The consultant will support three production environments (Corporate, MRCP, and Dividends/OT) consisting of 3 VMware vCenter environments; Approximately 100 Azure/AWS virtual servers, 100 on-premises virtual servers, 20 physical servers; NetApp storage; and Hybrid Microsoft infrastructure.
Required Experience:
Must have strong experience in:
VMware / vCenter
Windows Server
Active Directory
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online
NetApp Storage
Veeam Backup & Replication
Enterprise server administration
L3 Infrastructure Support
Hybrid infrastructure
Experience with Commvault, Azure Backup, Citrix, Disaster Recovery, and security/compliance activities would be considered strong assets.
