Contract: 1 year with strong possibility of extension
Location: Toronto, Hybrid- onsite 2x/week
Pay Rate: $95/hr. Incop

If you’re passionate about infrastructure automation and have hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), this is an opportunity to work on a large-scale enterprise automation transformation.
You’ll join an established Automation Centre of Excellence (CoE) responsible for modernizing enterprise automation, migrating legacy platforms, and building scalable, secure automation solutions across hybrid cloud environments.

What You’ll Be Working On
✅ Design and develop enterprise-grade Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections
✅ Build automation for Linux (RHEL) and Windows infrastructure
✅ Support Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) including Automation Controller, Private Automation Hub & Event-Driven Ansible
✅ Automate VMware vSphere and OpenShift Virtualization environments
✅ Integrate automation with ServiceNow, CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, and enterprise platforms
✅ Help migrate legacy automation platforms (vRA, SaltStack & OneFuse) to AAP
✅ Drive automation standards, security, compliance, and governance across the organization

Must-Have Skills
✔️ 10+ years in Infrastructure Engineering or Automation
✔️ 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
✔️ Experience developing Ansible Roles, Collections, Playbooks & Jinja2 templates
✔️ Strong Git-based development and CI/CD experience
✔️ Automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, WinRM
✔️ VMware vSphere and/or OpenShift Virtualization experience

Nice to Have
➕ ServiceNow, CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, Tenable
➕ Red Hat Certifications (RHCE / EX374)
➕ Experience with enterprise automation transformation programs
➕ CIS Benchmarking & Security Hardening
➕ Image pipeline tooling (Packer, vSphere Content Library)
