Cloud Engineer

Our top 5 banking client is looking for a Cloud Engineer. The duration of the contract is until October 31, 2026 with a possible extension or conversion to FTE in downtown, Toronto and it’s 3-4 days/week onsite.

Pay rate – $70/hr Inc. + HST

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

– 5-7 years of relevant experience in DevOps, infrastructure, back-end developer roles
– 3+ years’ experience with GitHub Workflows and Actions for CI/CD
– 3+ years’ experience with Google Cloud (GCP) expertise w/ GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
– 3+ years’ experience creating large-scale IAC-based deployments in Terraform (or Open Tofu).

Nice-To-Have Skills:

– Previous experience with modernization, banking or regulated environment
– 3+ DevOps tools: Docker, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Argo Workflow, HelmCharts
– 3+ of experience with Node.js, Typescript, Golang
– Experience with public clouds – Azure
– Experience with Linux system administration at the command-line, especially Bash scripting
– Experience with automating tasks in scripting languages useful in CD (e.g., Bash, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Go, Groovy, Java)
