Technical Architect

💼Job Title: Technical Architect
📍Location: 100% Remote (Canada)
⌛ Duration: Long-term contract
Note: Only who are residing in Canada can apply

This is a senior-level role, but very much a hands-on “doing” role rather than an advisory one. We’re looking for someone who brings strong expertise but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to produce the actual architecture documentation. As such, profiles that are purely enterprise architect–focused (and primarily advisory) wouldn’t be the right fit for this requirement.

• System architecture design (end-to-end, integration, scalability)
• Strong grounding in core domains (e.g., cloud, networks, security, DevOps) • Ability to define technical patterns, standards, and controls
• Experience integrating complex environments (IT/OT, multi-vendor)
Architecture documentation & blueprinting
• Understand dependencies across systems, data, and processes
• Create architecture blueprints and reusable patterns
• Document current-state architecture (applications, infrastructure). Please note for security, we will have a security architect working with them to document the security architecture.
• The core responsibility is documenting system structure and technical solutions that are currently running in the client environment
