Hiring: Junior Project Manager

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Onsite (5 days per week in office)

Duration: July 6, 2026 – March 31, 2027

Hourly Rate: $65/hour – $75/hour (based on experience)

Client: Public Sector – Healthcare

Overview:

This project is an expansion of the existing Digital Health Drug Repository (DHDR) to help clinicians obtain more complete information about drugs and pharmacy services that have been provided to all their patients. The DHDR will be expanded to include the addition of dispensed medication data elements contributed directly from Pharmacy Management Systems and hospitals, regardless of whether the medications were publicly funded, paid for directly by patients or by private insurers. The expansion of the DHDR with dispensed medication data elements from Pharmacy Management Systems will enable better medication management processes with Ontario digital tools to improve patient safety and more efficient transitions of care.

 

Responsibilities:

The Junior Project Managers will be responsible for onboarding sites to the Digital Health Drug Repository (DHDR) repository, including management of issues, risks and service change requests to ensure successful and on-time deployment of clients.

Site/Virtual Training and Trouble-Shooting
Project Go-live Schedule per Clinical Site
Project Risk/Issue Management
Service Management Documentation and Warranty Support
Deployment Reporting and Tracking

 

Must Haves:

Minimum 4 years’ experience with project management experience supporting electronic health-related projects
Minimum 2-4 years’ experience knowledge of healthcare information systems, pharmacy management systems and / or hospital information systems
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience with the management of project or program communications including both verbal and written, and strong stakeholder engagement skills
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience with document management including the application of standards, version-control, and storage.
Experience with and knowledge of Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning and quality management)
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and strong stakeholder engagement skills
Time management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects

 

Required Skills:

Demonstrated knowledge of project management; knowledge and understanding of Project Management’s Institute’s Project Management Body is an asset
Experience working on and delivering multiple projects
Demonstrated project management software skills and experience e.g. MS Project, MS Teams etc.
College/University undergraduate degree in Health, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline from a recognized institution or equivalent experience desired
