Job Overview
Core Technical Skills:

• Skilled DataStage and Talend Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to support enterprise data integration, data warehousing, and analytics initiatives.

• Strong experience in: o IBM DataStage (Parallel Jobs, Server Jobs)o Talend (Talend Open Studio / Talend Data Integration)
• Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)• Hands-on experience in:
• ETL design and development
• Data modeling concepts
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
• The candidate will work with large datasets and ensure efficient data movement, transformation, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using IBM DataStage and/or Talend
• Build reusable components and frameworks for data integration
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability✅ Data Integration & Processing
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL/ELT) data from multiple sources (DBs, APIs, flat files, cloud)
• Handle structured and semi-structured data• Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation rules
• Data Warehouse Support
• Work on data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables)
• Support data marts and reporting systems
• Ensure accurate and timely data availability for BI tools Performance Tuning
• Analyze job performance and optimize ETL workflows• Handle large data volumes efficiently
• Debug and troubleshoot ETL failures Collaboration
• Work with business analysts, data architects, and developers• Understand data requirements and convert them into technical solutions
• Participate in agile development processes (Scrum, sprint planning) Documentation & Governance• Document ETL processes, workflows, and data mappings
• Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards• Maintain version control and deployment processes
