Job Description
Key skills requirement:
• Proficient in SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio, SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and specializing in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and PySpark. Adept at designing and implementing scalable data solutions using modern cloud architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
o Data engineering fundamentals: ingestion, ETL/ELT, pipelines, medallion architecture, orchestration (ADF/Airflow), streaming.
o Modern cloud data stack: Azure + Snowflake + Databricks + EventHub/Kafka.
o Governance/security/compliance: PCI/GDPR/PII, encryption/masking/tokenization
o Lakehouse in Fabric (OneLake, Delta tables, shortcuts)
o Pipelines in Fabric (or clear mapping from ADF to Fabric pipelines)
o Dataflows Gen2
o Notebook engineering in Fabric
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients’ architects, other technical decision makers, and offshore technical teams.
