A leading private equity investment firm is seeking an experienced Manager, Finance to oversee fund administration, financial reporting, valuation support, audit coordination, and tax compliance activities for a private equity fund structure.
📍 Location: Greater Toronto Area
💼 Position: Manager, Finance

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of fund administration, including capital calls, distributions, investor communications, and credit facility administration
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting packages, including financial statements, investor reporting, capital account statements, and supporting analysis
• Support quarterly investment valuation processes
• Coordinate annual audits and work closely with external auditors
• Assist with tax compliance, tax reporting packages, and indirect tax filings
• Prepare forecasts and support tax planning initiatives
• Contribute to process improvements, controls, and operational efficiencies
• Partner closely with finance, tax, operations, and investment teams

✅ Ideal Background:

• CPA or equivalent accounting designation
• Strong experience in private equity, investment funds, asset management, fund accounting, or alternative investments
• Experience with partnership accounting and investor reporting
• Knowledge of ASPE and private equity valuation principles
• Experience managing audits, financial statements, and tax reporting processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
