Hiring: Developer – Capital Markets (C++/Python)
📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – Minimum 3 Days/Week Onsite)
📅 Duration: 12 Months + Extension/Potential Full-Time Opportunity
⏰ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (37.5 hrs/week)
We are looking for a talented Developer with a strong quantitative background and capital markets experience to join a dynamic financial services team in Toronto.
🔹 Key Requirements:
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong programming expertise in C++
• Experience with Python and scripting tools
• Knowledge of derivative pricing and risk analytics
• Exposure to Capital Markets environments
🔹 Nice to Have:
• Experience with VBA or additional programming languages
• Knowledge of Credit Derivatives
• Understanding of US MBS cashflow and prepayment modeling
• Experience in Fixed Income, Structured Finance, and Mortgage products
🔹 What Makes a Strong Candidate?
✔ Strong software engineering and programming skills
✔ Solid mathematical and quantitative foundation
✔ Understanding of financial products, particularly derivatives and structured credit
✔ Ability to bridge technical development with financial domain expertise
