🚨 Network Administrator (RDL Environment) – Contract Role Toronto or Richardson,TX
We are hiring a Mid–Senior Network Administrator to support a fast-moving enterprise environment focused on R&D / lab network operations, connectivity, and security configuration. This is a 6–12 month contract opportunity with strong potential for extension.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on in network operations and administration, with strong experience in switching, routing, VLANs, and firewall management within enterprise or lab environments.
📍 Location
Toronto (GTA preferred)
Richardson, TX also acceptable
Hybrid / Remote-friendly (depending on infrastructure access needs)
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Administer and support enterprise network infrastructure (switching and routing)
Manage and maintain firewall rules and security policies
Perform VLAN provisioning and network segmentation
Support ClearPass / NAC onboarding and access control configurations
Maintain and troubleshoot R&D / lab environments, including isolation and connectivity setup
Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure stable and secure network operations
Assist with incident troubleshooting, configuration changes, and network optimization activities
🧠 Must-Have Experience
Strong experience in Network Administration (mid to senior level)
Hands-on with:
Switching & routing (Layer 2 / Layer 3)
Firewall rule configuration and management
VLAN provisioning and segmentation
NAC / ClearPass or similar network access control tools
Experience working in lab or R&D environments
Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts and operations
⭐ Nice to Have
Experience with Cisco and/or Aruba networking environments
Exposure to large enterprise or multi-site environments
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Experience supporting hybrid or distributed infrastructure environments
