Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Systems Analyst – Digital/Mobile Banking. In this position, you will support the modernization and enhancement of front-end digital platforms, working closely with project teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and user journeys.
Pay rate range (CAD): $70.00/hr – $74.00/hr
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business stakeholders, Developers, and QA teams to gather and refine requirements
Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and user stories for development teams
Support the design and mapping of user journeys for digital, online, and mobile applications
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Assist in testing, validation, and rollout of front-end application features
Maintain effective communication channels across project teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery
Support modernization efforts for online platforms, emphasizing user experience and usability improvements
Document processes, workflows, and technical details to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing
Desired Skill-Set
8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within banking or financial services
Strong understanding of digital, online, and mobile application front-end development
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Proven ability to convert complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio
Ability to work independently, proactively, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving
Nice to Have
Relevant certifications in Business Analysis or Agile practices
Experience with user experience (UX) design and user journey mapping
Knowledge of back-end systems supporting front-end applications
Prior experience in banking or financial services projects involving digital transformation
