We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join a high-impact Digital Marketing & eCommerce team supporting large-scale retail analytics initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable data pipelines, working with modern cloud technologies, and turning raw data into actionable business insights.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment supporting customer experience, digital marketing, and eCommerce analytics, helping teams make data-driven decisions that directly impact business growth.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
Develop and optimize datasets for analytics, dashboards, and reporting
Translate business requirements into efficient data models and transformations
Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization
Build automation to improve data reliability and efficiency
Support ad hoc analytics and data extraction requests
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data, Marketing, Product, Engineering)
Work with clickstream and customer behavioural data
🧠 Required Skills
3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer (or similar role)
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Expertise in BigQuery
Strong programming skills in Python
Advanced SQL (data modelling, querying, optimization)
Experience with Airflow (or similar orchestration tools)
Solid understanding of data modelling & ETL design
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
🌟 Nice to Have
Experience in retail, eCommerce, or digital marketing environments
Exposure to clickstream or customer behaviour data
Familiarity with tools like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, PySpark, Vertex AI
Experience working in large enterprise or high-scale data environments
