ETL TESTER – (Healthcare & GCP)

Contract

Remote – Canada

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data testing, data validation / ETL testing.

• Perform data quality testing for source-to-target reconciliation

• Strong SQL skills for querying and validating large datasets in BigQuery.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (preferably GCP).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for debugging data issues.

• Experience in defining data quality testing strategy, best practices, and frameworks

• Ability to establish entry/exit criteria and performance testing strategy

• Hands-on experience with anomaly detection and root cause analysis

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines

Nice to have Skills:

• Experience in healthcare data platforms and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA) will be a Plus

• Knowledge of GCP data services (e.g., Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, dataform).

• Experience with data observability tools and anomaly detection techniques.

• Experience in validating semi structured & unstructured data.
