Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Scrum Master – Technical Projects. This position involves managing complex projects within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless agile delivery aligned with business goals.
Pay rate range (CAD): $73/hr – $77/hr
Responsibilities
Facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
Collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Manage multiple large cross-functional teams or pods, ensuring delivery of project milestones within scope and timeline.
Guide teams on agile best practices, Kanban methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work alongside the Project Manager to coordinate project delivery, stepping into responsibilities when needed.
Monitor and report on team performance, impediments, and project progress.
Support backlog refinement sessions and help prioritize work based on business value.
Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability across teams.
Desired Skill-Set
10+ years of total professional experience with a focus on agile delivery.
Strong technical background with experience in application development.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and SAFe preferred.
Deep knowledge of Kanban and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and drive team performance.
Understanding of project delivery lifecycle and SDLC processes.
Ability to step into project management responsibilities as needed.
Nice to Have
Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
Background in application development or technical project management.
Prior experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar agile management platforms.
Experience working with large, complex enterprise programs.
