Are you a seasoned Risk and Compliance professional with a knack for navigating complex regulatory landscapes? We are looking for a Finance Risk Analyst – Expert to join a premier financial institution in Downtown Toronto for a high-impact, 12-month contract.

The Role at a Glance
Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid: 2 days/week – Wed/Thu + 1st Friday of the month).

Duration: 12-month contract.
The Mission: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Risk Lines of Business (LOBs), ensuring control activities and regulatory frameworks are world-class.

What You’ll Be Doing
RCM Advisory: Lead effectiveness assessments and independent monitoring.
Strategic Reporting: Craft and present KRI and control environment insights to senior leadership.
Audit & Project Management: Drive the schedule for compliance exams and manage remediation plans for assigned LOBs.
Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as the central RCM point of contact, building bridges across corporate governance and infrastructure teams.
Innovation: Monitor regulatory developments and design creative solutions to stay ahead of the curve.

Who You Are
The Veteran: 7–8 years of dedicated experience in Control Testing & Quality Assurance (QA).
The Compliance Guru: 3–5 years specifically in Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) within financial services.
The Influencer: Exceptional communication skills with the gravitas to engage and influence executive leadership.

Bonus Points: MBA, CFA, CPA, or CIA designations are highly preferred.
