Senior SA&A Consultant
On-site – Ottawa, ON | Contract
Secret Security clearance required, open to Canadian contractors.

Our client is seeking a Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) Consultant to support initiatives and ensure compliance with the Government of Canada security standards.

Key Responsibilities
Support SA&A activities, research, and documentation
Develop artefacts: CONOPS, SCAR, POA&M, security questionnaires
Guide implementation of security controls (IAM, IR, DLP, audit, etc.)
Review architecture for compliance (DND/CAF, CIA requirements)
Support iATO/ATO readiness, documentation, and evidence validation
Identify risks, gaps, and control deficiencies
Collaborate with project teams, LCAM, and SA&A stakeholders
Requirements
CISSP & CISA (mandatory)
6+ years SA&A experience (last 10 years)
Experience with CSE ITSG-33 & GoC security standards
Strong background in SCAR, CONOPS, SRTM, TRA, and assessment reports
Ability to demonstrate experience using the STAR method
