Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Business System Analyst (Cloud Migration/API). This position involves leading critical modernization initiatives, focusing on migrating branch hardware, databases, and authentication systems to the cloud to enhance efficiency, scalability, and operational agility.

Pay rate range (CAD): $72.46/hr – $86.96/hr

Responsibilities

Act as a Product Owner, managing the development and delivery of cloud migration initiatives
Collaborate closely with business and technology teams to gather requirements and manage stakeholder expectations
Write clear, detailed user stories that accurately reflect project needs
Translate complex technical concepts into understandable business language for non-technical stakeholders
Lead discussions, clarify priorities, and ensure project alignment across teams
Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills and make informed decisions under limited information
Adapt to evolving project needs, ensuring timely delivery of project components
Participate in interviews and collaborative sessions to support project progression
Desired Skill-Set

Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in cloud migration projects
Strong understanding of API integration and cloud platforms
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to write user stories and technical documentation
Demonstrated ability to translate technical language into business terms
Quick thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities
Experience working in financial services or regulated environments is an asset
Nice to Have

Previous experience acting as a Product Owner
Knowledge of branch hardware devices, databases, and authentication systems
Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools
Previous exposure to modernization projects within banking or financial institutions
