Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Change Manager – Operational Risk. This position involves managing organizational change initiatives within the operational and non-financial risk domain, supporting risk management programs, and ensuring alignment with governance standards.

Responsibilities

Lead complete end-to-end change management activities for assigned initiatives, from initiation to closeout, including all related change and project artifacts
Identify and evaluate risks associated with strategic, regulatory, process, and technology changes within risk frameworks
Ensure compliance with the bank’s Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) policies, standards, and governance requirements
Integrate effective risk and control considerations into change design and implementation processes
Collaborate with business, technology, compliance, resilience, and risk teams to provide guidance and challenge across multiple projects simultaneously
Support governance, approval processes, and reporting for material change initiatives
Manage project deadlines, balancing stakeholder needs and competing priorities with agility
Navigate complex risk topics and evolving requirements to facilitate informed decision-making and stakeholder engagement
Desired Skill-Set

6+ years of project management experience
4+ years of change management experience
Proven experience in risk management
Postsecondary degree or equivalent qualification
Proficiency with MS Office tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to synthesize complex information into clear messages
Exceptional attention to detail
Effective collaboration and team skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and shifting priorities
Nice to Have

Prosci Change Management Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Prior experience in the financial industry
Executive-level communication and presentation skills
