Microsoft Licensing Specialist (CSP / M365 / NCE)

⏳ 6-Month Contract | 💰 $50–$60/hr INC
🚀 About the Role
We’re hiring a Microsoft Licensing Specialist to support a fast-paced Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) environment. This is a strategic, advisory role—not just transactional licensing.
You’ll work closely with Sales, leadership, and technical teams to optimize Microsoft 365 environments, reduce risk, and unlock growth opportunities through licensing intelligence, tenant insights, and Microsoft-funded programs.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
Microsoft Licensing Advisory
Provide expert guidance on Microsoft 365 licensing (Business, E3/E5, Security, Teams, Copilot/AI)
Support CSP lifecycle activities: new business, renewals, expansions, and mid-term adjustments
Advise on NCE (New Commerce Experience) structures, seat management, and contract alignment
Commercial Governance & Optimization
Ensure licensing accuracy, compliance, and margin protection
Identify and reduce revenue leakage and licensing inefficiencies
Support audit readiness and documentation standards
Tenant & Licensing Assessments
Run and interpret CoreView assessments
Identify over/under-licensing, security gaps, and optimization opportunities
Translate findings into actionable recommendations and sales opportunities
Microsoft Funding Programs
Identify and align customers to funded workshops and incentive programs (Modern Work, Security, Copilot, AI)
Partner with internal teams to accelerate pipeline and modernization initiatives
Sales Enablement
Act as a trusted advisor to Sales on deal structuring and licensing strategy
Help remove friction, create urgency, and drive deal velocity
✅ What We’re Looking For
3–5 years experience in Microsoft licensing / CSP / partner environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Business, E3/E5, add-ons, Copilot/AI)
Solid understanding of NCE (New Commerce Experience)
Hands-on experience with CoreView or similar tenant/licensing assessments
Experience working with Microsoft funding programs or partner incentives
Strong communication skills with ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
High attention to detail across commercials, governance, and compliance
⭐ Nice to Have
Certifications such as MS-900, AZ-900, SC-900
Experience in MSP, VAR, or Microsoft partner environments
Background in renewals, licensing optimization, or cloud commercial strategy
💡 Why This Role?
Work in a high-impact, advisory position (not just processing licenses)
Exposure to cutting-edge Microsoft programs (Copilot, AI, Modern Work)
Opportunity to influence deal strategy, revenue growth, and customer modernization
Flexible, hybrid setup with a strong collaborative environment
