Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Contract to Hire
📍 Mississauga, ON (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite)
Dallas, TX – 4 days/week in office (HR directive)
💰 $85–$90/hour (INC) or USD
🕒 8-Month Contract → Strong Potential for Full-Time
We’re hiring 3 Senior SREs who come from a strong software development background and can truly build and own infrastructure through code.
This is NOT an operations-only role. We’re looking for engineers who can read, write, and understand code (loops, conditionals, classes, methods) and automate everything.
🔥 What You’ll Be Doing
Design and implement secure, scalable AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters
Build and maintain infrastructure using expert-level Terraform
Automate CI/CD pipelines and eliminate manual processes
Develop cloud-native solutions using Azure services (AKS, Azure SQL, Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory)
Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana
Own production reliability, monitoring, DR planning, and performance optimization
Collaborate closely with development teams in a microservices environment
🛠 What You Bring
6+ years as an SRE supporting production systems
6+ years in software engineering / development environments
Deep hands-on expertise in Azure, AKS, Terraform, Kubernetes, PowerShell
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, Helm, Docker, ARM, Ansible
Experience managing Kubernetes in production (2+ years minimum)
Strong analytical and communication skills
