Head of IT Operations

Head of IT Operations – Hybrid (North York)
We’re looking for a hands-on Head of IT Operations to lead a small, high-performing infrastructure team. You’ll own day-to-day IT operations, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence across servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, and monitoring systems. This is a hybrid role with occasional travel across Canada & the US.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers
Ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing IT systems
Participate in cross-functional projects as the technical SME
Drive process improvements, automation, and operational excellence
What We’re Looking For:
7+ years in infrastructure operations or systems engineering
2+ years leading technical teams
Hands-on experience with virtualization, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), networking, storage, and systems administration
Strong communication, problem-solving, and project delivery skills
Salary & Benefits: $130,000–$150 CAD + bonus + benefits
