Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Risk Reporting BI Specialist. This position involves leading analytics and testing efforts within enterprise risk frameworks, utilizing your technical skills to ensure data integrity, develop insightful reports, and support critical security and cyber measures. Responsibilities

Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including planning, documentation, execution, and issue tracking
Develop and maintain data quality assurance scripts using SQL to validate completeness and consistency of risk data
Automate manual processes and optimize data workflows with VBA scripting in Excel
Track testing progress and report findings through Jira and Confluence, capturing issues and resolution steps
Produce comprehensive UAT closure reports with detailed findings and actionable recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to continuously improve data quality and reporting accuracy
Support the design and validation of key risk indicators (KRIs) and other metrics
Maintain an in-depth understanding of data sources and lineage, ensuring transparency and integrity in reporting environments
Assist in change management activities related to risk data and reporting enhancements
Engage with 2nd Line of Defense teams on risk and compliance challenges as needed
Desired Skill-Set

Over 5 years of experience in data analysis, quality assurance, or reporting within a financial or risk-focused environment
Strong proficiency in SQL, VBA, and Excel for automation and large-scale data analysis
Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, and Python for analytics and visualization
Experience using Jira and Confluence for tracking testing activities and documentation
Knowledge of financial industry technology controls and security risk issues
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent project management skills
Proven success collaborating in highly matrixed, cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Experience with cybersecurity and internal security controls
Familiarity with ETL processes and data lineage analysis
Knowledge of risk management frameworks and compliance requirements
Exposure to enterprise risk platforms and automation tools
