Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Now Hiring: Senior Oracle Database Administrator – IBM Guardium Hybrid – Toronto (2 days onsite; may increase to 4) Contract duration: March 2, 2026 – March 1, 2027 What you’ll do: Install, configure & support IBM Guardium Data Protection + Key Management Deploy IBM agents and configure database monitoring policies Migrate Oracle encryption keys into centralized key management Perform Oracle DB installations, upgrades, patching & configuration Monitor systems, resolve alerts & maintain system integrity Manage IBM application backups Provide on-site DBA + system support as needed What you bring: 🔹 8+ years of relevant experience 🔹 5+ years as a Senior Oracle DBA 🔹 2+ years recent, hands-on IBM Guardium experience (must-have) 🔹 Strong Oracle Advanced Security knowledge 🔹 Experience supporting enterprise‑grade DB environments Nice to have: Experience with Ansible automation Oracle Exadata or MySQL experience Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Financial services background
