Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications:
Agile Product Leadership, Collaboration & Delivery:
Establish and maintain the agile environment required for teams to build, test, and iterate on user centered digital credential products.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams through daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and iteration reviews.
Apply user centered design practices to ensure product decisions are informed by user research, accessibility needs, and real-world usage patterns.
Manage iterative product development cycles, validating features through rapid prototyping, user testing, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.
Define the product roadmap aligning service needs and technical features with business goals.
Translate market, regulatory, and standards trends into actionable product direction
Own product KPIs and success metrics such as adoption, credential issuance volume, and trust scores
Manage the agile process for multidisciplinary teams—including product managers, developers, UX designers, researchers, DevOps engineers, architects, content creators, and identity/security specialists.
Remove delivery obstacles and coordinate with internal and external partners to maintain delivery momentum and unblock dependencies.
Communication, Stakeholder Engagement & Technical Decision Support:
Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams, partner ministries, industry partners, and governance bodies involved in digital credential ecosystem work.
Communicate complex technical and product concepts clearly to diverse audiences—executives, business units, developers, policy teams, and external stakeholders.
Work closely with engineering teams to evaluate solution options, trade-offs, technical feasibility, operational risks, and performance implications across mobile app wallet, agent, and backend components.
Set clear expectations for delivery timelines, risks, milestones, and dependencies, ensuring transparency and alignment across all stakeholder groups.
Identify and escalate issues, risks, and blockers early, driving timely resolution and ensuring product continuity.
Technical Expertise:
A solid computer science foundation that supports clear, effective communication with software engineers and technical specialists, enabling informed decision‑making and technical alignment.
Experience with hands-on development and/or architecting software solutions. Examples may include (but not limited to):
Knowledge and experience with developing software with at least one primary stack (e.g., Kotlin/Swift/React Native for mobile; Node/Go/Python for backend services)
Systems designs that consider services, data stores, queues, APIs, security monitoring/logging and scaling requirements
Strong familiarity with API design, micro services patterns and modern cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), supporting scalable and secure product delivery.
Proven hands-on experience building any software solutions including but not limited to development of open SDKs, backend APIs, and other technical components that support product delivery.
Practical experience working with modern mobile technologies, such as React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or similar frameworks, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams across platforms.
Demonstrated understanding of mobile app architecture, eg. SDK management, API integration and related architectural considerations.
Digital Credentials Subject-Matter Expertise:
Understand and articulate the technical architecture of digital credentials ecosystem including wallet components, credential issuers, verifiers, and trust registries, to ensure product decisions align with platform capabilities and ecosystem constraints.
Staying constantly informed on industry standards and innovations in digital credentials wallet.
Assess the impact of evolving digital identity frameworks (e.g., PCTF, NIST, eIDAS) on product functionality, compliance, trust scoring, and integration strategies.
Understand and articulate the roles and interactions of issuer, holder, and verifier, including trust chain considerations, protocol flows, and governance implications.
Evaluate and translate technical requirements related to W3C VC, decentralized identifiers (DIDs), credential status, revocation mechanisms, cryptographic assurances, and secure exchanges into clear product features and roadmap priorities.
Translate technical concepts (e.g., attestation, holder binding, revocation registries, storage models) into user‑focused requirements and clear documentation that informs design, development, and stakeholder decisions.
Contribute to standards discussions, ecosystem alignment, and interoperability planning for digital credential platforms and wallets.
