Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Junior IT Project Control Coordinator – Cybersecurity/Infrastructure. This position involves supporting the delivery of infrastructure and cybersecurity projects within a dynamic banking environment, primarily focusing on program financials, portfolio management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure project success.
Pay rate range (CAD): $43.47/hr – $52.17/hr
Responsibilities
Support multiple large-scale cybersecurity and infrastructure projects, including program and portfolio management activities
Track project financials, including creating and monitoring budgets, PMLEs/PMLs, and tracking actuals versus estimates
Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules and work breakdown structures
Coordinate meetings, take detailed notes, track action items, and follow up with project teams and stakeholders
Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues proactively
Manage change tickets and coordinate task assignments using ServiceNow or similar tools
Contribute to process optimization initiatives to improve project delivery efficiency and governance adherence
Support compliance documentation and ensure project activities align with organizational policies and standards
Attend to project reporting needs by preparing presentations and status updates for stakeholders
Support resource planning and capacity management activities across multiple initiatives
Desired Skill-Set
2-4 years of experience supporting complex technology projects involving system integrations or deployments
Proven ability to monitor project health, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery
Strong understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
Hands-on experience with project management tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, or equivalent
Proficiency in tracking project financials with Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with ServiceNow, including change management processes, is highly preferred
PMP or similar certification is a plus
Nice to Have
Prior experience supporting cybersecurity or security-related projects
Knowledge of banking or financial services industry regulations
Familiarity with risk management frameworks and compliance standards
Experience working in a hybrid work environment with flexible scheduling
Ability to adapt to fast-paced project environments and manage multiple priorities
