Must Haves:

The purpose of this request is to acquire an Intermediate Project Control Officer to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the health Innovation Pathway (HIP) program are accomplished in accordance with Ontario Health’s established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.

The Project Coordinator will support team members in the successful delivery of the Health Innovation Pathway, ensuring strong project communication, documentation and reporting.

HIP brings promising innovations into the health system – improving patient outcomes, driving economic growth and helping Ontario’s health system reach its full potential. It is designed to accelerate the adoption of new technologies that can improve patient care. The pathway connects the dots for end-to-end innovation adoption in Ontario, creating a single window to introduce new solutions and giving health service providers the tools they need to improve care.

Must haves:

Three to five years of business experience, including one to two years’ experience in a project coordination role
Experience with and knowledge of Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, project and work package planning & scheduling, and quality management)
Demonstrated experience with the management of project or program communications including both verbal and written, and strong partner engagement skills
Experience with document management including the application of standards, version-control, and storage
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated excellent time management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
Desired Skills:

Experience in change management, process development and business/project management operations is preferred
Deliverables Include:

Support project working group and committee(s)
Project and meeting coordination including tracking action items, maintaining decision logs, and following up on team commitments
Acting as the central intake point for project communications
Ensuring documentation follows standards, is version-controlled, and stored centrally
Maintaining integrated project schedules and milestone tracking
Demonstrating continuous improvement and decision support in alignment with program and organization goals
