🕘 Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
⏰ 37.5 hours/week
📅 Contract Duration: ASAP – May 31, 2027

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead complex business and technology initiatives within the payments and financial services domain. This role requires strong Agile expertise, deep knowledge of payment operations, and the ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage product roadmap, backlog, and delivery priorities
Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations partners
Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Drive delivery of payment and wire-related initiatives
Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions
Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams and leadership
Must-Have Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience managing complex business and technology projects as a Product Owner
Strong understanding of:
Wires platforms
Global payment operations
Clearing and settlement
SWIFT
ISO 20022 impacts
Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management and Agile delivery methodologies
Experience acting as a constructive conduit between business and technology development teams
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Nice-to-Have Skills
Formal Agile certifications such as:
CSPO
CSM
Working knowledge of:
Payment operations
Clearing & settlement
FI cash and treasury management activities
Experience working directly with Agile development teams
Recent experience with a top 5 bank or financial institution is considered an asset
