➡️ We are currently requesting resumes for the following position: Senior Technical Engineer.
➡️ We are seeking a qualified Design Engineer with Design Engineering experience in the ECC (Engineering Change Control) process to join our teams. Opportunities are available in Fuel Handling Design, Mechanical
➡️ Design, Civil Design, and FINCOE (Fix It Now Center of Excellence), and we welcome applicants from all engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls).
➡️ Lead and/or support the development, review, and implementation of engineering design changes, modifications, and upgrades in accordance with our client’s ECC process.
➡️ Prepare, review, and approve engineering documents, including specifications, calculations, drawings, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory and our client’s standards.
➡️ Perform technical assessments, field walkdowns, and evaluations to support project scope development and problem resolution.
➡️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and external vendors—to ensure successful delivery of engineering solutions.
➡️ Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
➡️ Ensure all engineering work is conducted with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
➡️ Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned for operational events or equipment failures.
➡️ Maintain accurate records and documentation for all design activities and changes.

📌 Qualifications

➡️ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Instrumentation & Controls) from a recognized institution.
➡️ Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario, or eligible for PEO registration.
➡️ OPG Design Engineer qualification (mandatory).
➡️ Demonstrated experience with ECC (Engineering Change Control) process.
➡️ Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in the nuclear, power generation, or heavy industrial sectors.
➡️ Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
➡️ Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
➡️ Experience with our client’s engineering standards, regulatory codes, and procedures is an asset.
➡️ Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, AssetSuite, engineering calculation tools).
➡️ Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
