Network Admin

Network Admin Contract 6mo Working Hours: 1PM-9PM EST Location: Fully remote (but within Ontario only!!!) Rate: 55-60/hr (incorporated or solo-prop) Start date: March 2nd This Network Admin will support on 2 projects: Network Refresh and Rogue device removal (help to remove unmanaged/unapproved devices that are currently on company’s network) Requirements:  . 4-5 years in a similar role . Computer Science Degree/Diploma (focus on Networking/Switching/ Routing) . Certification in Cisco CCNA or related discipline . ITIL service management certifications (asset) . Fortinet products . Cisco Meraki product . Supporting network refreshes . removing rogue devices from the network . networking equipment . IT Security, Network policies, Network infrastructure design – strong understanding . networking/distributed computing environment concepts – strong knowledge . Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery best practices – some experience . Experience migrating on-premises systems to Azure and AWS cloud . Direct experience with monitoring tools like MS Operations Manager, Nagios and Zabbix . Ability to script common operational activities in PowerShell, Bash, Perl or Python Techs: . Active Directory, ADFS, ADCS, DC Promo, GPO, RDS, VDi . Administration and troubleshooting of Azure, AWS and Office365 cloud services . on-premises systems to Azure and AWS cloud migrations . monitoring tools: MS Operations Manager, Nagios and Zabbix . Active Directory Services . network operations and access authentication . Windows devices – troubleshooting and managing  . DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, and other network fundamentals .
