We’re Hiring: Senior IT Business Analyst (Contract) – Canadian Banking
Are you an experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong data and banking background? We’re looking for a seasoned professional to join a high-impact initiative within Canadian Banking focused on Service Excellence.
📍 Location: Toronto
🏢 Hybrid: 3 days onsite (Tuesday–Thursday)
📆 Contract: Feb 2, 2026 – Oct 30, 2026
🔁 Extension & FTE conversion: Based on performance and business needs
🕘 Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 37.5 hrs/week
Rate Range – $87-$94 under incorporation
🔍 About the Role
As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and developers to translate complex business and governance requirements into technical solutions within a regulated financial environment.
✅ Must-Have Qualifications
10+ years of relevant professional experience
5+ years as a Business Systems / IT Business Analyst with strong data focus
Experience in financial services or regulated environments
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
Experience with API-based integrations (RESTful services, OAuth 2.0)
Strong collaboration skills with technical teams
⭐ Nice to Have
Advanced SQL for data profiling, validation, and analysis
Strong experience in data mapping, ETL, and source-to-target specifications
Hands-on experience with data governance, data quality, and metadata management (2+ years)
