Job Title: Business Analyst – Capital Markets & Market Risk
Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid: 2 days in-office, future 4 days)
Rate: $76-88/hr (INC)
Duration: 6-month contract, possibility of extension

About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to join a high-visibility, business-critical risk management project. You’ll work on market risk systems, reporting enhancements, and regulatory solutions while collaborating with stakeholders across Risk Management, Operations, and Finance.
What You’ll Do:
Analyze, design, and deliver high-quality solutions for market risk and regulatory needs
Collaborate with technology teams and vendors to integrate systems end-to-end
Provide insights into financial instruments and risk calculations
Drive Agile project execution and improvements in operational processes
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
10+ years in IT or business analysis
5+ years in Capital Markets and Market Risk management
Strong SQL and Linux expertise
Agile project experience
Nice-to-Have:
Python, Power BI, Tableau
CFA or FRM designation (or in progress)
Experience with major financial institutions
