Title: Solution Architect – Application Security & Cloud
Location: Hybrid – Toronto, ON (2 days onsite)
Salary: $80-92/hr (6-month contract, possible extension)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to lead cloud and application security initiatives. You’ll design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale IT solutions, working with a skilled infrastructure and tooling team. This is a real vacancy, not just a posting, and candidates will be updated within 45 days of interviews.
What You’ll Do:
Architect and implement IT solutions supporting application security (DAST, SCA, SBOM).
Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams on enterprise-scale projects.
Assess tools, integrate solutions, and provide hands-on technical guidance.
Ensure security best practices and compliance are embedded in your designs.
What We’re Looking For:
7+ years in IT architecture, solution design, and implementation.
2+ years networking and IT security experience.
5+ years experience with microservices, APIs, or enterprise integration patterns.
Hands-on developer or system integrator background – able to dig into solutions, not just design.
Bonus: TOGAF, Python/Java, application security, cloud architecture experience.
