HR Coordinator
9 Month Contract- Maternity Leave Contract
North York- ONSITE
Pay range: 20+ hourly
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests, providing timely and effective assistance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Manage full-cycle recruitment, including drafting and posting job advertisements, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and preparing employment agreements.
Facilitate benefit enrollment and provide general information on available programs.
Set up payroll for new hires and process address updates.
Provide guidance and support to new and existing team members.
Complete onboarding processes and update records for new employees.
Participate in monitoring and evaluating workplace health and safety action plans and policies.
Assist with health and safety initiatives, ensuring alignment with evolving industry standards.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, processing payroll change forms, handling payroll inquiries, benefits administration, and vacation tracking.
Coordinate the performance review process for front-line employees, submit documentation to payroll, and maintain the Employee Performance Matrix.
Support other HR functions and participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications & Assets:
Preferred experience with Dayforce HRIS system.
Ability to communicate in French is a strong asset.
