Duration: 1 year (covering maternity leave; extension/conversion possible)

Location: Toronto, ON – 66 Wellington St W (Hybrid: 2 days onsite; 4 days onsite starting November)

Summary:

We are seeking a Risk Analyst I to join the Market Risk & Counterparty Analytics team. This group provides oversight of market, counterparty credit, and collateral management, ensuring risks are properly measured, reported, and transparent. The role will support daily processes, governance, and analytics, while assisting managers with projects and business continuity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily risk process activities (~70% of time).
Track approvals, due dates, and maintain accurate data.
Support stakeholders with reporting, documentation, and information updates.
Assist the manager with continuity for ongoing projects.
Handle ad-hoc requests and provide business support as needed.
Must-Have Skills:

Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience creating dashboards.
Nice-to-Have Skills:

Strong attention to detail.
Administrative assistance or coordination experience.
Knowledge of risk management principles.
Soft Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive, interactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree required.
Open to new graduates; preference for 2–5 years’ experience in risk, finance, or related fields.
