Business & Technology Analyst (SQL/VBA)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days in office, moving to 4 days in November)
Type: 6-month contract (extension and conversion possible)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours
About the Role
We are looking for a Business & Technology Analyst with 2–4 years of experience to support ongoing business-as-usual activities. This role combines business analysis and technical skills, bridging the gap between stakeholders and technology teams.
You’ll work closely with a senior leader, assisting with documentation, reporting, and light coding, while gaining exposure to both business processes and IT solutions in a large financial services environment.
Responsibilities
Create, edit, and proofread business requirements documentation.
Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements.
Build and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports.
Use SQL/VBA to execute and refine existing code.
Assist with small projects, including data pulls and process documentation.
Develop presentations and decks for stakeholder communications.
Must-Have Skills
2+ years’ experience with SQL and VBA (execute and tweak code).
Strong requirements management skills.
Ability to create clear, professional presentations/decks.
Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Access, Power BI, SharePoint).
Nice to Have
Exposure to technology architecture.
Experience in financial services or compliance.
