Financial Accountant

An established leader in the food manufacturing sector is seeking a Financial Accountant for a 3–4-month contract.
In this role, you’ll be reporting to the Controller, supporting month-end reporting, conducting variance analysis, and helping drive process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

📍 Contract Details
•Duration: 3–4 months
•Rate: $55–$60/hour
•Location: Brampton

✨ Key Highlights:
•Maintain accurate financial records and prepare timely month-end reports.
•Conduct detailed variance analysis, AP, Inventory, Cash, balance sheet recs (expenses, labour, COGs, margin) and recommend actions. This role will not need budgeting or forecasting.
•Support audits with accurate working papers.
•Improve internal controls and streamline reporting processes.
•CPA completed or in final stages.
•2+ years’ accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience.
