Financial Analyst – Investment & Due Diligence

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Financial Analyst – Investment & Due Diligence who will be working closely with the hiring manager but also alongside internal and external teams including but not limited to fund accounting, securities valuation, product implement as well as the office of the CFO of client’s Investment Funds, and external auditors, fund accounting and tax agency vendors.

Responsibilities:

Capture, prepare and analyze financial data (focusing on Investments)
Prepare BOD reports from a variety of sources
Review financial statements
Assist with financial presentations to the CFO
Due diligence reviews of vendors (including SOC review)
Ensuring compliance (compliance reporting and governance)
Review and compare with key accounting standards
Desired Skill Set:

Post-secondary graduate (specifically in accounting, commerce or finance)
CPA designation
Project and vendor cost analysis
In-depth financial data preparation and analysis
Investment technologies
Proficiency in the use of MS Excel
Nice To Have:

Accounting background in the financial sector
Familiar/working knowledge of Access DB
Good Investment and Financing experience / exposure
