Job Title: Senior Drafting Technologist (Audio Visual)
Location: Onsite – Eastend or Westend, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Security Clearance Required: Secret
Contract Duration: 1 Year

Noramtec Consultants is seeking a Senior Drafting Technologist (Audio Visual) to support mission-critical infrastructure construction projects in Ottawa. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality AV architectural and engineering drawings and managing essential technical documentation for real property, IT, and AV system improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Produce AV architectural and engineering drawings in 1D, 2D, and 3D formats
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and reports
Maintain and update project artifacts and AV-related database records
Support infrastructure construction and AV system enhancement projects
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure AV systems meet project requirements
Travel outside the National Capital Region (NCR) may be required

Requirements
10+ years of direct experience in Audio Visual drafting and design
Proven ability to create AV designs and drawings (1D, 2D, and 3D)
Experience working on infrastructure and IT construction projects
Strong organizational skills to manage technical documents and database records
Valid Secret Security Clearance is mandatory
Located in Ottawa or able to work onsite (Eastend or Westend)
