Are you passionate about helping people navigate complex information and services? We’re seeking a Junior Information Officer to join our client services team in Edmonton, Alberta.
In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for individuals seeking information, guidance, or referrals across various program areas. You’ll handle incoming inquiries via phone and email with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy, ensuring each client is heard and supported.
Key Responsibilities
Provide courteous, timely, and accurate information to clients across multiple lines of business.
Clarify client questions and provide the necessary information to help them meet their goals.
Maintain composure and professionalism while handling diverse client concerns.
Offer referrals to appropriate municipal, provincial, or federal agencies, courts, law enforcement, or legal counsel as needed.
Accurately log all client interactions using the ServiceNow platform.
Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
Requirements
Must be able to work on-site in Edmonton and cover shift work, including weekends and evenings.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
2+ years using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
3+ years in a customer service role interacting with clients
Nice to Have
1+ year experience with:
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
Microsoft SharePoint
ServiceNow
CXone
Previous call center experience is an asset
